Religion:   Holy Week begins next week. We will be focused on what happened to Jesus on each of the days. The students will also be using the Bible to learn more about who else is important during Holy Week. On Friday the sixth graders will be presenting the Stations of the Cross to the rest of the school at 2:30.
Writing: We are continuing our unit on Opinion Writing. We will be using transition words to connect our opinions and reasons. Our grammar lesson will be on Writing Book Titles.
Math:   Unit Eight continues next week with fractions. We will be looking fractions that are greater than one. We will use the book, Picture Pie, to find examples of how to create different animals using fraction pieces. They will then have to find the improper fraction and mixed number value of their animal. The test over fractions is scheduled for Wednesday, April 19.
