Religion: Our focus will be on the Works of Mercy the next couple of weeks. They will be using what they learn to create a word cloud in the computer lab. 
Writing: Grammar Lesson - PronounsNext week the third graders will continue working on our Personal Narratives unit. We will be listening to examples of personal narratives that other children have written. We will write about times when we have persevered and discuss using temporal words (next, then, finally).
Math: Our third unit will be wrapping up next week with a test on Wednesday. They will review on Tuesday. The fourth unit will focus on multiplication and division. 
Spelling: Week 9 Long Vowel Review & Medial Consonant
The spelling section of the website contains all of the weekly lists and the choice words in case your child misplaces their words. You can also find a copy of LSCW if you need it.
Science/SS: Students will finish learning about our government. Focus will be on the 3 branches and levels of government. We will be starting a new unit on American Spirit. 
Comprehension: Next week we will begin our unit on making inferences. We will practice being detectives and look for clues within passages.
